Problem with Footprint

Been a while since I was here - I’m solving most of my problems on my own, but this one has me stumped. I’m trying to make a 5x20 fuse holder that uses two different types of fuse clips. The holes are all lined up, etc, measurements done, etc. I’ve joined the pads up with a polygon-filled shape, but I am still getting all the holes individually numbered. I really only want one hole on each shape to be the master hole and numbered 1, and on the other 2. I looked at an online video, but it doesn’t really cover this type of component. The ‘footprint checker is throwing up multiple errors as you can see below. Any ideas where I should start? One other thing, I want to pads to be joined where possible via thermal relief pads. When I tried to do this via the pad editor, it does not seem to work either (I’ve done the ctrl B to redraw thing).

Cheers

Give all of the 4 connected pads the same pad number. So that is 4 pads with pad number “1” and 4 pads with pad number “2”.

ok - I’ll try that and see what happens!

Its worked - thanks :slightly_smiling_face:

For the next time: There is no need to reply quickly on a medium such as a forum like this. There is no useful info in mentioning that you are going to try something. The other post (16 minutes later) in which you mentioned that it works for you does does have useful info.
