So I decided to update the drawings in an archived project by opening, updating symbols as required, then re-saving them before re-zipping the folder.
Some of the boards had some odd shading on one of the jumper symbols… what is this?

Check if those symbols have the ‘Exclude from Simulation’ attribute set. . .
