Mutually exclusive parts causing output/output ERC failure

I have two bus transceivers (RS485 and CAN) that will never be installed at the same time. They both connect to same RXD/TXD of microcontroller and Kicad ERC fails on two outputs connected. In schematic/layout software packages I used previously, was way to approve failures so they don’t count as errors, but I see no way to do this in Kicad. If I delete that one marker, on ERC rerun shows up again.

Is there some way to tell Kicad these parts are mutually exclusive or approve particular ERC failure ?

You could create custom symbols and set the offending pins to passive.

But I guess it would be easier to ignore this one error and simply add a note to the schematic, assuming it it the only error.

Actually it will be easy to change pin designation, because for every project I make a lib with copies of symbols.
