How to Implement a Hatched Ground Pattern

This is what I get when I enable hatching in the zone settings,
but I want a pattern like the one shown

. Is there any way to achieve that?

Why do you want it? Isn’t it unnecessary?

And if you look at the v6 and v7 docs, the orientation option is already there. Therefore, RTFD.
