I am not sure if this is the same issue, but I am seeing a strange snapping behavior when I move objects in the footprint editor. As I try to move it, it appears to snap to invisible diagonal axes. Attached gif of the issue below (hopefully it works).
I just created a brand new footprint on KiCAD 9.0.5 release. Confirmed the issue is resolved in 9.0.3 and 9.0.4 release builds.
